Tahai

We begin our journey at the ceremonial complex of Tahai, one of the island's most important archaeological sites. Here you’ll witness majestic moai statues overlooking the ocean and learn about their role in the social structure of the ancient Rapanui people.

Ahu Akivi

Next, we head to Ahu Akivi, the only platform where the moai are aligned facing the sea. They represent the seven explorers sent by the legendary king Hotu Matu’a. This site is a fascinating blend of astronomy, spirituality, and ancestral engineering.

Orongo and Rano Kau

We then ascend to the edge of the breathtaking Rano Kau crater, an extinct volcano with a lake inside that feels like another world. Nearby, we visit the ceremonial village of Orongo, birthplace of the legendary Birdman Cult (Tangata Manu), where history, landscape, and sacred energy come together in a unique experience.

Rano Raraku

Our journey continues at the sacred quarry of Rano Raraku, the birthplace of almost all the moai. Here you’ll see statues in various stages of carving, some still attached to the volcanic rock—as if time had stood still.

Ahu Tongariki

Just minutes away, we arrive at the iconic Ahu Tongariki, the largest ceremonial platform in all of Polynesia, featuring 15 moai magnificently restored. These silent giants stand as a powerful symbol of the Rapanui people's ancestral organization and vision.

Anakena

We end our adventure at the paradisiacal beach of Anakena, considered the birthplace of Rapanui culture and where the island’s first king is said to have landed. Its white sands, crystal-clear waters, and swaying palm trees offer the perfect ending to a day full of history and natural beauty.
